Ever wanted to run your own tabletop RPG campaign but had no idea where to start? This free, beginner-friendly workshop is your entry point.
On Sunday 26th July, 9:30am-2:30pm at Boomers Pavilion, Eaton, five experienced Dungeon Masters will walk you through everything you need to know to get a game off the ground; from the basic rules and mechanics to world building, character work, and keeping your players safe and included at the table.
We'll cover:
Game rules & mechanics (both online and in-person play)
Safety tools and accessible play
Characters and role play
World building and description
Overcoming self-doubt as a new DM
Resources to keep you going after the day
You don't need to have run a game before, or even played one. A little familiarity with tabletop RPGs helps, but it's not required. Just bring yourself (and maybe a notebook and pen).
