Health Promotion
Plan, implement and evaluate health promotion that genuinely lands with the community you are working with. We offer co-design, program planning and evaluation frameworks suitable to meet your goals.
Hand the heavy lifting to someone who does this for a living.
You already know what your community needs. What you might not have is the time, the headspace, or the spare capacity to plan a program properly, deliver it well, and prove it worked (usually all while a funding deadline looms).
That's where Peppy Project comes in to take the pressure off. We carry the planning, the coordination, and the evaluation, so you can stay focused on the relationships and the work only you can do. You bring the goal and we bring a Bachelor of Health Promotion and years of hands-on experience across the not-for-profit, local government, and business sectors.
You get the confidence of a properly designed and measured program, without having to become a health promotion specialist yourself. And because we’re local, you're working with people who already know the South West and its communities.
Why prevention work matters
It's easy to treat prevention as a "nice to have" and pour everything into responding once things have gone wrong. But the evidence keeps pointing the other way. Almost two in five young Australians aged 16–24 experienced a mental disorder in a single year (the highest rate of any age group¹) and half of all lifelong mental health challenges emerge before the age of 14, with more than half of those young people never getting professional help.²
Getting in early to promote wellbeing, build connection, and reach people before they reach crisis, is increasingly recognised by government as the most cost-effective and humane place to invest. Good health promotion doesn't just tick a box; it changes the trajectory.

Program planning and co-design with communities: shaping programs with the people they're for, so they're relevant, trusted, and far more likely to be embraced.
Coordinating and delivering health promotion programs: taking your program from idea to on-the-ground reality, with the logistics handled.
Evaluation of health promotion programs and outcomes: measuring what changed and giving you evidence you can put in front of a board or a funder.
Monitoring and evaluation frameworks for existing programs: building the structure to track and prove impact over time, even for programs already up and running.
Things we can take off your plate…
Proof & Credentials
Why organisations across the South West choose us
We know the local landscape. We're well networked with local councils, businesses, government agencies, and not-for-profits, with deep sector knowledge across the Greater Bunbury region and wider South West.
We're peer-led and youth-informed. Young people and local communities help design and lead what we do, which is exactly why our programs land where generic, top-down offers don't.
We measure what matters. Our work draws on evaluation and learnings from the Blue Leaf Initiative, with evaluation partnerships involving UWA and The Kids Research Institute, so you get evidence you can put in front of a funder or a board.
We're built for inclusion. Our approach is designed to reach rural and remote communities, First Nations young people, LGBTQIA+ youth, and people with disability.
We're aligned with the big-picture priorities. Our work maps neatly onto the National Suicide Prevention Strategy 2025–2035 and the National Children's Mental Health and Wellbeing Strategy which is handy when you're writing your own funding case.
