Peppy Project bloomed from the Blue Leaf Initiative, a pilot mental health and wellbeing program supported by Investing In Our Youth and funded by Healthway 2023-2026.

Mission Statement

Meet Bec

Founder and Director, Bec McLevie, holds a Bachelor of Health Promotion and Graduate Certificate in Child and Adolescent Mental Health, with a safeTALK facilitator qualification.

With over seven years’ experience in youth development, mental health promotion, and volunteer management, Bec has received regional and state recognition for her work including Youth Work WA Regional Youth Worker 2023 and Volunteer South West Volunteer Leader 2024.

She has presented at major conferences such as YACWA Fairground 2025, WA Rural & Remote Mental Health Conference 2025 and Volunteering WA State Conference 2025, established the Greater Bunbury Youth Network, and coordinated the Blue Leaf Initiative while working at Investing In Our Youth.

To work alongside young people and communities to design and deliver inclusive, place-based programs that build wellbeing, connection, and resilience.
